Donna Rose

Psychologist: Telehealth

Donna is registered psychologist with over 20 years experience working with young children and their families.

Through her prior employment in Neonatal Intensive Care Units and The Family Court, Donna has extensive experience working with families whose journey to parenthood is complicated by loss, premature birth, health or developmental difficulties or social adversity.

Donna has a particular interest in the process of adaption to the changes and challenges of the transition to parenthood, and the development of the emotional ties that link parent wellbeing and childhood wellbeing.

She is therefore, deeply committed to finding opportunities to support parent-child relationships and promote the (prospective) parents’ sense of well-being and confidence in their ability to manage the challenges of growing a family.

Donna has completed perinatal mental health specific training from the Centre of Perinatal Excellence (COPE),and the Centre for Perinatal Psychology. Donna is a member of the Australian Association for Infant Mental Health (AAIMH).
