BA/BEd Double Degree Arts and Education, Grad Dip Psychological Science, Honours in Arts (Psychology)
Ellen is a registered psychologist whose therapeutic approach is person-centred and neuroaffirming. She utilises distress-tolerance skills from Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), and attachment-informed interventions from both the Gottman Institute and Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT). She also integrates positive psychology techniques into sessions to harness and build upon clients’ existing strengths.
Her background is in teaching and child psychology, and she has over 14 years experience working with families in the education and private sectors.
Ellen has completed Perinatal Mental Health specific training through the Centre of Perinatal Excellence (COPE).
