Rose is a registered psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
Rose believes success in therapy starts with a good trust relationship between therapist and client. Rose has previously had careers in sales, wine marketing and teaching and this extensive life experience and empathetic ability enables her to build good relationships with her clients. Rose believes that for therapy to be effective it must be tailored to the individual needs and preferences of clients and that no one approach fits all.
Rose enjoys working with all age groups and all life stages. She has experience treating clients with depression, anxiety, eating disorders, and trauma. Rose has completed extensive training in Attachment theory, CBT, ACT, Sleep Psychology, EMDR and ISST certification in Schema Therapy. She is currently completing an Advanced Entry Clinical Masters.
Rose has four children (30, 28, 18 and 17), three grandchildren, a beagle, a jerk of a cat, and a husband. She enjoys pottering in the garden (though she admits to having a black thumb), reading science fiction and fantasy, playing dungeons and dragons, and is teaching herself to paint with watercolours.
