Anneka is a registered psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS).
Embracing a trauma-informed, person-centred, strength-based approach, Anneka’s therapeutic style is gentle and collaborative. Evidence based therapies she uses include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy and Mindfulness techniques. She is also a registered Circle of Security Parenting facilitator.
Through Anneka’s Community Psychology training, she is mindful of principles such as social justice, advocacy, empowerment, power/oppression, decolonization, diversity and inclusion, and how these variables intersect, impacting people’s mental health. Anneka is an LGBTQIA+ friendly practitioner who also adopts a neurodiversity affirming approach.
Committed to ethical practice and professional development, Anneka has completed specialized perinatal training with the Center of Perinatal Excellence (COPE). She looks forward to supporting you on your journey towards enhanced mental and physical wellness.
