Catiray (Cat) is a Clinical Psychology Registrar with almost a decade of experience working with trauma. Cat previously focused her therapy in supporting adolescents and adults who had experienced or had been impacted by sexual trauma. With publications, conference
workshop presentations and development and facilitations of group programs in eating disorders, Cat’s interests diverted to the transformative nature of matrescence when she too became a mother.
Cat’s aim is to take time, to understand you and your individual needs, and work together compassionately to move towards your desired therapeutic intentions. Cat pulls from a range of modalities that will best suit your needs, including but not limited to, Cognitive
Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT).
Cat can support you at any stage along your preconception, pregnancy and post-partum experience.
Cat is a Member of the Australia Psychology Sociality (APS) and sits on the committee as Secretary for the Perinatal and Infant Psychology Group (PIPIG). Cat is currently undergoing further training through COPE Applied Skills in Perinatal Mental Health Assessment
and Care.
