Harshita is a registered psychologist with extensive experience supporting individuals through various life stages, with a particular passion for perinatal mental health. She is dedicated to helping parents navigate the emotional challenges of fertility, pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period, offering compassionate and evidence-based care tailored to each individual’s needs.
Her therapeutic approach is integrative and client-centered, drawing from modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), attachment-based approaches, and trauma-informed care. She works collaboratively with clients to create a safe and supportive space where they feel heard, validated, and empowered in their parenting journey.
Harshita is committed to supporting the mental health and well-being of parents as they adjust to new roles, relationships, and identities. She is particularly passionate about working with culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities, recognizing the unique challenges they may face and ensuring therapy is culturally sensitive, inclusive, and respectful of each client’s background and experiences.
Through her work, Harshita strives to help parents feel more connected, resilient, and confident as they navigate the joys and complexities of early parenthood.
