Julie is a registered psychologist with the Australian Health Professionals Regulatory Agency (AHPRA). She is a full member of the Australian Psychological Society and a member of the Australian Clinical Psychology Association.

Julie has a passion for supporting people to overcome challenges and to thrive and flourish through a strengths-based, person-centred approach to therapy. Julie utilises techniques from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy in her work with clients to address their individual needs and treatment goals.

Julie has extensive experience as a uniformed member of the Australian Defence Force (ADF) working exclusively with current serving members and their commanders in Australia and on overseas operations. She has provided a wide range of psychology and mental health services including clinical interventions, occupational selection, group and organisational interventions including large scale psychological screening activities, and supporting commanders in their management of wounded, injured and ill members as a senior mental health clinician of a regional multi-disciplinary team.

Julie completed a placement with Mums Matter Psychology in 2024 to finalise her Masters of Psychology (Clinical) which fuelled her desire to pursue ongoing work within perinatal mental health. She will commence her Clinical Registrar program in 2025. Julie is available on a part-time basis, with sessions available two evenings a week and on weekends.
