Paula is a creative and holistic Mental Health Occupational Therapist with over 10 years’ experience, specialising in working with families of all life stages including parents of infants, children and young people to improve their emotional health and wellbeing.
Paula appreciates that often taking the first step to seeking support can feel overwhelming, so she strives to create an online space that offers warmth and empathy. Paula believes that we thrive when we harness our ability to build connections with others.
Paula utilises an attachment and values driven approach, is a trained Circle of Security facilitator and applies various evidence based psychological strategies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT). Paula brings a diverse range of clinical experience, including work in the disability, non for profit and health promotion sectors.
Since expanding her own family, Paula has further developed a keen interest in perinatal mental health, drawing upon professional training and lived experience. Paula understands the journey to parenthood is not always straightforward and can bring with it a range of emotions, challenges, and newfound responsibilities. Paula looks forward to providing support to parents as they navigate this new phase of life.
